Board of Registration
The Division of Professional Licensure is an agency within the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation with 29 boards of registration, including plumbing, regulating more than 40 trades and professions.

Attorney General of Massachusetts
The Attorney General is the chief lawyer and law enforcement officer of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. As such, she represents the Commonwealth in many matters in which the Commonwealth is a party.  In addition, the Attorney General is a resource to residents who are facing challenges in the area of consumer protection, fraud, civil rights violations, health care, and insurance issues.  Of special interest to people in the construction industry is the Fair Labor Division which handles wage and hour and prevailing wage questions and complaints as well as other workplace issues.

IAPMO
The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) has a strong cooperative presence in the nation of India and partnered with the Indian Plumbing Association (IPA) to develop a Uniform Plumbing Code for the nation.

OSHA
The arm of the Department of Labor that is responsible for ensuring jobsites are safe. They inspect workplaces and issue reports and fines after accidents. If you see a problem where you work call them.
