Dear Retiree,

The retirees club will resume its meetings on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 1240 Massachusetts Ave., Boston at 10:15 AM.  The speaker that morning will be Michele Ellicks, Community Outreach Coordinator for the Registry of Motor Vehicles.  Her presentation will be “Shifting Gears – Safe Driving For Elders”.

Christmas Party & Toys For Tots
     The Children's Christmas Party and Toys for Tots was very successful again this year.  We want to thank all the members who donated toys and specifically thank the following members who helped with the Children's Christmas Party:  Jake Orlando, Joseph H. Don't Forget Your Plumbing License
LOCAL 12 MEMBERS ARE REMINDED to have your plumbing license or apprentice registration card with you while you are working on the job.  State plumbing inspectors will be authorized effective January 15, 2009 to issue tickets with a $100 fine to anyone who does not have a current plumbers license or apprentice registration card on their person.  Fines are already being issued by State plumbing investigators.
