Our staff has created our excellent reputation in the mechanical contracting industry. Through their diligence, E. M. Duggan has grown and prospered to become a leading firm in Massachusetts.
The company was founded in 1891 by the grandfather of our current chairman, Edward M. Duggan. Beginning in a small shop on Boston's Shawmut Avenue, this modest plumbing repair and maintenance business was taken over by Edward's father in 1942. Ed later followed in their footsteps.
E. M. Duggan has always had an unsurpassed reputation for quality and excellence in customer service. The company is well-known for delivering work on-time and within budget. We control costs with our extensive planning and pre-fabrication operations.
In addition to plan and spec work, E. M. Duggan has significant experience with design-build applications.

Air Conditioning Services of New England is a recent addition to the E. M. Duggan team. The subsidiary provides around-the-clock mechanical service and maintenance to similar industries and markets as those served by E. M. Duggan.
