I WANT TO PERSONALLY THANK the many members who volunteered their time during the election season with many activities including:  phone banks, visibilities, and labor walks in New Hampshire.  Your efforts really help our union endorsed candidates and make a difference in electing our friends.

SERVICE PIN AWARD DINNER will be held at Venezia Restaurant on Ericson St. in Dorchester, MA on Friday November 7, 2008.  Cocktails are at 6 PM, and dinner is at 7 PM.  Recipients will be notified directly.  Members can purchase tickets through the office for $50.00.

DUES PAYMENTS please check your card.  If you have not paid your August 2008 dues, then it is due no later than October 31, 2008.  Any payments later than that will be assessed a $50 reinstatement stamp.

TRAINING COORDINATOR RICK CARTER is planning an estimating course and a CAD (Computer Assisted Drawing) course in January 2009—if enough members register.  To register contact Rick Carter at 617-288-1010.

CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIRED to renew your plumbing license is being offered by IAPMO at Plumbers Local 12.  Members interested can register with Joe Conley at 781-803-2782.
